Derek Mellott – Investigator
I suppose it starts with somewhat of a sob story. My dad died when I was 10, so I was forced to deal with the whole death and dying thing pretty young. I was already deeply curious about my spirituality at that time and it only progressed from there.
By extension, the paranormal has always been a fascination of mine. The questions I have about the afterlife have brought me to many different stages in life – from Seminary to paranormal investigating.
These days I work in the Tech sector in corporate America. This has given me a passion for investigative equipment and scientific approaches to research. I let my deep curiosity and rational skepticism guide my approach to investigating the paranormal. While my religious doubts and existential concerns are at the core of who I am, my desire to help others and surround myself with those equally as curious about the topic remain a central theme in my life.
